In the opinion of a lot of the tabloid press, Samantha Ronson was probably the most “sane” thing in Lindsay’s life. Unfortunately, their relationship seems to be quite a strain.

TMZ reported that before Ronson’s New Year’s Eve DJ gig at South Beach club Mansion, Lohan and Ronson were already seen fighting and that Lohan had to fix her make-up before heading to the red carpet. While in the club, there is now a video of Lindsay coming up to Ronson while she is DJing and yelling, “Why are you doing this?”

Right now, the most reported news is their fight while heading back from Miami to Los Angeles. This time the fight started in the American Airlines Admiral Clubs lounge. Lohan was in such distress that the flight attendant asked her if she would like to get off the flight.

This recent incident is just right after a huge fight broke out between the two at Ronson’s Hollywood Hills home just before Christmas, waking the neighbors at 4 a.m. with sounds of screaming and breaking glass. Ronson then spent a night in the hospital, citing “exhaustion.”

Samantha Ronson and Lindsay Lohan were on their way into the VIP room on the Champs-Elyses just after 1 AM on Saturday, when an anti-fur campaigner dumped flour on Lindsay Lohan. The French anti-fur campaigner yelled “Lindsay Lohan-fur hag!” as she dumped the flour. During her trip to London and Paris, she has been sighted wearing numerous fur coats.

“Lindsay Lohan might be able to ignore images of bloody animals skinned alive for their pelts, but we hope a dash of flour will help her rise to the occasion and forsake fur once and for all.” PETA Europe’s Robbie LeBlanc said in the statement.

Samantha Ronson responded on her MySpace page:
“Today I’m p—-d at the bag of flour thrown on Lindsay last night. Not because I got powdered down, but because the girl who threw it acted like an animal herself,” she wrote. “It’s a pity that some groups feel the need to assault people as opposed to fighting with words. I don’t wear fur, but I don’t think I have the right to ATTACK those who do. No one has that right.”

From probably the more unreliable sources, China Daily, Screen Weekly (India), and the London Mirror are reporting that Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson will fly to Paris to buy an engagement ring and fly back to London to officially announce their engagement. The couple are currently in London after Ronson performed at London’s China White club.

It was already rumored that the couple got engaged during a romantic trip to Mexico last October and tomorrow they will be taking their own designs to a jeweler in Paris.

A previous rumor suggested that Ronson had already presented a $100 Cartier ring.

Well, I’m exciting to see if this is true.

In December’s issue of Harper’s Bazaar, Lindsay Lohan talks about her relationship about Samantha Ronson. She first confirmed her relationship during a phone-in interview for “Loveline” in late September.

“I think it’s pretty obvious who I’m seeing,” Lohan said. “I think it’s no shock to anyone that it’s been going on for quite some time … She’s a wonderful person and I love her very much.”

If asked if she considers herself a lesbian, Lohan responded with a “no,” but is willing to admit to being bisexual.

“I don’t want to classify myself,” she continued. “First of all, you never know what’s going to happen — tomorrow, in a month, a year from now, five years from now. I appreciate people, and it doesn’t matter who they are, and I feel blessed to be able to feel comfortable enough with myself that I can say that.”

Lohan said that she would like to eventually get married, but she did not know whether or not it would be a man or a woman.

I have absolutely no bases for this, but I have seen videos of Lohan pretty much bitching out Ronson in public and I think they are having problems. I think Lohan is starting to feel that she might not want to be in a long-term relationship with a Ronson, especially when considering having a family with children.

Lindsay Lohan’s character on Ugly Betty has essentially been killed off from the show. Lindsay Lohan plays an old high school classmate nemesis of Betty who eventually turns into the present day boss of Betty’s dad at a fast food restaurant. After her appearance last season, Lohan was suppose to reprise her role in an additional six episodes this new season. Lohan has already filmed four episodes and there have been conflicting reports on whether or not some of these episodes will air.

One production source said: “”It was a mess. Lindsay would show up every day with an entourage of people. She smoked 24/7, and after she left, they had to repaint her dressing room it was such a mess.”

But a friend of Lohan is defending the star. In one episode called “Granny Pants, Betty pulls down the pants of Lohan’s character in an act of revenge. Apparently, Lindsay Lohan wasn’t wearing any underwear. Lohan’s friend states, “Bull Shit]! Lindsay wears underwear all the time now. She was wearing a G-string. And it was America’s fault. They were rehearsing the scene and America wasn’t supposed to pull Lindsay’s pants down – but she did. Lindsay was so embarrassed, she started crying.”

In regards to the dressing room, Lohan’s friend points out that the cast of “Fringe” may have made the mess since they shared the same space. She also points out that Lohan’s “entourage” just included a sober companion, manager, assistant and girlfriend, Samantha Ronson. She believes that all the blame lies on America Ferrera saying that, “America was mean to Lindsay. Producers give her too much power. Lindsay didn’t do the last two episodes because America didn’t like her and got her kicked off.”

Both reps for Lohan and Ferrera are attempting to be gracious and said only positive things about Lohan’s appearance on the show.

In my opinion, I’m sure Ferrera and Lohan simply just didn’t get along and that created a lot of tension on the set. Ferrera is the star of the show, so one would expect that she would “get her way” in this situation. Meanwhile, I think Lindsay, who is easily considered a bigger celebrity and probably has an ego to go along with it, felt like she was not appreciated on set and just got mean about it.
