Smith. Having been a passionate Travis fan for over a decade, I am always thrilled about the prospect of a new Travis album. The previous four Travis albums, although brilliant, seemed to be progressively mellowing out, perhaps suggesting the band’s maturity. However with Ode to J. Smith, I am very excited to hear a louder, slightly edgier Travis, reminiscent of their Good Feeling days. The UK tour has practically sold out, so let’s keep our fingers crossed to see these Men Who in the U.S. sometime soon!
