A couple of months ago, I wrote a post when Nick Hogan was released from prison after serving a little under an eight month sentence for reckless driving involving serious bodily injury. The accident left his “friend” in a vegetative state for the rest of his life.

Nick Hogan was released from jail after serving 166 days in jailing stemming from a reckless driving conviction that left his friend, John Graziano, with permanent brain damage that will require him to live in a nursing home for the rest of his life. Nick Hogan could have spent up to five years, but John Graziano’s family requested that he have a lesser sentence.

All I have to say is that John Graziano’s family are a bunch of Saints. I do not suggest most people do this, but if you Google “John Graziano,” then you will find a link of John Graziano in the hospital. He is missing a substantial amount of his skull and is in what is can be called a semi-conscious state. I like to think that anything is possible, but John Graziano will spend the rest of his life in that condition.

My guess is that Graziano’s family knew that their son was a somewhat willing participant in these high speed driving activities so it was difficult for them to completely blame Nick Hogan, but 166 days in prison and five years of probation for destroying a life and his families is something else. So, I will say it again, Graziano’s family are Saints.
