Michelle Obama wore a red-and-black Narcisco Rodriguez dress last night as here husband, Barack Obama, became the 44th president of the United States Of America. The design was based off a style Rodriguez showcased for his Spring 2009 collection during New York Fashion Week.
Barack Obama wore a custom made dark navy suit by Hart Shaffner Marx, which was the same her wore during the Democratic Convention.
One trend for Fall 2008 is the check pattern. I have to say that the T.I.L. Darling Clothing Boutique loves this trend. Quite honestly, on this forum you’re either going to hear us either praise or bash something. There really isn’t any neutral/gray area when it comes to fashion with us.
I know this doesn’t sound too appealing when I put it this way, but what’s hot is soft interpretations of the lumberjack print. Also, expect to see a lot of shift and sack-shaped dressed in orange, brown, and blue glen checks and micro checks. I think the only thing I love more than dresses in check pattern are sleek skirts in check pattern. Check it out:
When I first saw this trend, I was a little hesitant. You have to understand, for the most part when a buyer is looking for new items, it’s not prominently displayed on a beautiful model, but just on your basic clothes hanger. Now, seeing on these models, this trend is going to be super hot. The T.I.L. Darling Clothing Boutique will definitely be up and running next Spring and I can guarantee you we’ll be carrying Off Shoulder Dresses
