Okay Ladies, Brooke Hogan is only 20 years old but, in my opinion, her face is saying something completely different. I believe she lives out in Florida and so I would assume she’s out in the sun quite a bit – without sunscreen.
Anyway, you make your own judgement.
No surprise, but aspiring models waiting in line to audition for America’s To Model panicked when they saw a car overheating. They feared that the car was going to explode, which is pretty rare from an overheating car, and a stampede began. Six people were injured and three people were arrested. There was original speculation that the commotion stemmed from an altercation between models, especially since there were reports of three arrests.
It turns out that three people were charged for throwing police barriers and “urging other to be disorderly and to riot.” They were officially charged with inciting a riot and disorderly conduct, as well as resisting arrest.
The police shut down the auditions because they felt it wasn’t organized properly, especially since police were not notified of the event that brought hundreds of people waiting in front of the Park Central New York Hotel.
For those of you who are new to our blog, T.I.L. Darling Boutique is a huge fans of Milla Jovovich movies, such as the 5th Element and the Resident Evil series (not so much the second). We saw these pictures of Milla at Paris Fashion week and they are just unbelievably cute.
In the fashion industry, the general news was that American Apparel was doing well compared to other firms. Apparently, they just have good public relations because the had to sell 1/5 of their business to a British private equity group, Lion Capital. They needed the cash in order to pay off a $16 million debt they owe to the founder of Dell Computers, Michael Dell, which is due to be paid in 7 days.
We really do not like making enemies, but I’ve never really understood the appeal of American Apparel. I’ve walked into a couple of times, but never saw anything that made me think, “wow, that’s really cute or cool.”
So, I’m not surprised.
