Jennifer Love Hewitt and Ross McCall

According to People Magazine, Jennifer Love Hewitt and (ex)fiance Ross McCall have called off their engagement.

People reports, “They broke up over the holidays and have ended their engagement,” a source close to the couple told People. “They’re both really sad about this. Even their friends are surprised; they seemed really happy. Everyone just wants the best for both of them.”

I think the “they seemed really happy” line has been used since the beginning of time. I’m sure even cavemen and women grunted the same words.

The Seattle Children’s Research Institute released a study saying that more than half of teenagers on Myspace mention sex and drugs.

In 2007, a study looked at 500 randomly picked Myspace profiles of those 18 years of age.

The study found that 54 percent of the profiles mentioned information about high risk behavior: 41 percent mentioned substance abuse, 24 percent mentioned sexual behavior and 14 percent violence.

This message if for the younger members of the T.I.L. Darling community: do not list behavior that you do not want your school, classmates, or future employers to know about.

School and employers will “Google You” and search for any information about you.
