The Scottish lads released their sixth album this week entitled, Ode to J. Smith. Having been a passionate Travis fan for over a decade, I am always thrilled about the prospect of a new Travis album. The previous four Travis albums, although brilliant, seemed to be progressively mellowing out, perhaps suggesting the band’s maturity. However with Ode to J. Smith, I am very excited to hear a louder, slightly edgier Travis, reminiscent of their Good Feeling days. The UK tour has practically sold out, so let’s keep our fingers crossed to see these Men Who in the U.S. sometime soon!
I was interested in writing a blog about music artists and their fashion lines. You know, to kind of hit two birds with one stone, though I would never condone hitting a bird with a stone. Maybe some rude people, but never a bird. Instead, I came upon this picture.
I dare you to say that William Rast designer and close friend of Justin Timberlake, Trace Ayala (Far Right), does not look like a cross between Pauly Shore and Patrick Dempsey. I’m not saying he always looks like that, but just in this particular picture. I think the hair is very Pauly Shore, but the face structure is very Patrick Dempsey.
Anyway, congratulations to William Rast for their Spring 2009 collection. I’m not sure if you’ve seen the promo photo for William Rast with Justin Timberlake and model Erin Wasson. I think they’re super cool.
